Our people and the neighbouring community forms the axis of operations at the New Ambadi Estates (Pvt) Ltd., People are at the helm of everyday working, engaged in various operations at the Estate and related centres. We believe a healthy environment is led by a happy workforce. Our people practices, in association with the Forest Stewardship Council norms, we have created a beneficial system of people practices.
People Practices
Our people practices are centered around the welfare of the employee. Our welfare programs – both financial and health – include the families in our wellness circle. As a standard practice, we ensure our employees are insured with Rs 1 lakh LIC policy. In addition, we provide monetary assistance for education, scholarships and marriage of the girl child. In times of personal need, we provide financial aid or interest-free loans of upto Rs 1.5 lakh.

In continuation of our belief that welfare begins at home, our employees and their families are provided with free housing within the estate. We also provide interest-free housing loans to our workforce. Extending our assistance to the community outside, we provide financial assistance to the deserving public living around our estate for building or repair their houses.

On retirement, our employees are extended with ‘retirement assistance’ – a financial scheme which goes beyond the stated statutory norms. In times of death, the employee or his immediate family is provided with financial assistance.
The second pillar of our welfare scheme is health. It includes our employees, their families and the neighbourhood communities. The healthcare pillar at New Ambadi Estates (Pvt) Ltd., includes a full-fledged Valliammal Achi Hospital, and a system of regular medical check-up to screen and treat for seasonal and other diseases.
We have extended our commitment to health by providing medical assistance to people suffering from chronic illness. The communities around too benefit from our healthcare assistance programs.
